Traditional Machining Laboratory Equipment Understanding and classifying the machinability of a material is fundmental to any manufacturing process involving that material. Two common machining methods are milling and turning. When developing new materials and tooling for those materials it is essential that traditional machining research be completed, typically with mill and lathe.
